Short track skater Lee Yeo-jun enters the national training camp for the first time, with only half a year left until the Winter Olympics. Overshadowed for years because of his weak stamina and timid personality, Yeo-jun never drew much attention. After the national selection trials, however, a series of accidents and injuries among top athletes suddenly gives him the chance to join the national team despite his lackluster eighth-place finish. The thrill of this opportunity does not last long, since the label “accidental national team” weighs heavily on his mind. At his assigned lodging, Yeo-jun meets Nam Ji-hoon, the strongest short track skater of the moment and his long-time secret crush. Ji-hoon seems unusually interested in him, and Yeo-jun quickly finds himself swept up in his orbit.
